Flurry / Pinch Media Merger Information

As you have likely heard, we recently announced that we are merging with Pinch Media. The new company will be the definitive leader in providing analytics and optimization services to mobile application developers. Everyone involved in both companies is excited about this event and especially what it means we can do to help developers.

Above everything else, our focus is on helping you as a developer succeed. With the combined assets of Flurry and Pinch we can build exciting new tools to help you optimize and build your business. In the short term, this means that features offered by Pinch Media that aren't currently in the Flurry system soon will be. In the long term this means we can provide tools such as benchmarking and predictive modelling which will use aggregate market data to help you predict the performance of your application.

What does this mean for you today? Just keep using Flurry's services the way you always have and in a few months you'll start seeing new features appear to enhance your experience. We will continue to upgrade our SDK as we always have to add more features while maintaining our industry leading minimal overhead. In the cases where you might want to consider upgrading the SDK you use to gain some new features, we will be sure to make that clear.

The mobile application market is an exciting place and has come a long way since Flurry got started. We've enjoyed the success we've seen among developers in the Flurry community and hope to help even more developers succeed as the market continues to grow.

I have accounts at both Flurry & Pinich using the same email address. Will my Pinich applications be seemlessly migrated to my Flurry account?

Hi Malcom,

Yes, all of your Pinch applications will be migrated to your Flurry account. This process will happen in stages and we'll notify you when the process is complete.
